We make commitments in our lives that we have no business keeping beyond a certain point.
I have friends that date toxic women or even marry them in some cases.
Then they find one they love, our friends group loves them only for them to break up with the good girl.
They're addicted to the struggle.
The same goes for cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, or sex.
We make commitments to things that create toxicity in our lives.
Chemicals
Relationships
Business Agreements
Friendships that drain your energy.
Redefine what you're committing to in your life.
There's no enforcement agency coming to regulate whether or not you keep your committments to toxic things, people, or concepts in your life.
Ask yourself what you really want.
If it's none of what you have in your life, make a decision and change it.
And you'll start to see the commitments you keep don't need to be defined by an agreement.
